Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
By using Beat2Cut (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Service Description
Beat2Cut is a browser-based editing helper. Free audio beat detection works without an account. Video scene detection, the browser video editor, and AI Voiceover require sign-in. Free accounts receive 100 one-time trial credits for Voiceover and Free-plan video export delivery. On Free, delivering each export file (merged MP4, scene ZIP, or FCPXML) spends credits before download. Beat2Cut Pro is a paid monthly subscription that includes a larger recurring shared credit allowance for Voiceover and includes video export delivery without a per-export credit charge. Scene detection and video export encoding run locally in your browser; Voiceover script text is sent to third-party AI speech providers (Fish Audio, MiniMax) and generated narration audio is processed in the cloud. We may change free, signed-in, and paid capabilities as the product evolves.
Accounts & Sign-In
You may create an account with email or Sign in with Google. You agree to provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and not share your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the Service, attempt to bypass rate limits, bot verification, or credit rules, or violate these Terms.
Acceptable Use
You may use Beat2Cut for personal and commercial video and audio projects you have the rights to. You retain rights to your source media and to files you export. You agree not to: process content you lack rights to; attack, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; resell access or automate abuse of Voiceover or credits; generate or attempt to generate illegal, harmful, or sexually explicit content; or use the Service for deepfakes, non-consensual voice cloning of real people, fraud, harassment, or other unlawful purposes. We may refuse or terminate jobs that violate this policy.
AI Voiceover and Generated Speech
Voiceover converts text you provide into synthetic speech using third-party AI speech providers we integrate, including Fish Audio and MiniMax. You are responsible for the scripts you submit and for how you use generated audio. Generated audio is provided for your projects; it is not a guarantee of accuracy, style, or fitness for a particular production. Do not submit personal data of others without a lawful basis, and do not use Voiceover to impersonate people without permission. Credits are consumed according to the pricing and allowance rules shown in the product at the time of generation. Failed or cancelled jobs may not consume credits when the Service did not complete generation.
Pro Subscription, Credits, and Billing
Beat2Cut Pro is offered as a recurring monthly subscription at the price displayed on the Pro and pricing pages (currently USD $20 per month unless a different price is shown at checkout). Payments are processed by Creem as Merchant of Record. Taxes may be calculated and collected by Creem where required. Pro access and the Pro credit allowance depend on verified active subscription status. You can manage payment methods, invoices, and cancellation through the in-product billing portal after your first successful payment. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period unless Creem or these Terms provide otherwise for failed payments, refunds, or disputes. There is no separate user-facing one-off credit top-up product; credits come from signup trial grants, Pro included allowance, optional promotional codes, or support grants. Refunds, chargebacks, and payment disputes are handled under Creem’s buyer terms and applicable law; we may revoke Pro access when a payment is refunded, disputed, or fails after retries. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact support@beat2cut.com within 14 days of the charge and we will review the request with Creem; approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. We respond to billing requests within three business days.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that detection results, exports, or Voiceover audio will be accurate, artifact-free, or uninterrupted. You are responsible for verifying results before production use.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beat2Cut and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim, or USD $50 if you have not paid, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated to signed-in users. Continued use of Beat2Cut after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
